Wow.

If this were straight-up monochrome on a black T-shirt, I would buy this in a heart-beat. It's got a really cool, look to it...and I just like it! You've got intense artistic talent, so never stop drawing. :D

Windoff responds:

I will never stop drawing. I'm really love this all. xD Thanks)) About t-shirt - good idea=)

Nice work!

The snow texture on the ground looks great, and flurry of snow-fall is blurred appropriately.

The Sorceress, err...let's call her "Tits" looks good for what's being done. I can dig everything; hair looks great, clothes, her pale, almost undead skin, it's just...look at her tits. They're huge, right? Now, one would guess they would hang like that...but only if her arms were down, right? So now you have her raising her arms hiiiigh above her head, and her tits are still in a kind of "down" position....which insinuates in my head, that when she lowers her arms, those tits would sag a bit, wouldn't they?

If it were me, I'd look for a busty chick with her arms raised in an angle similar to that, and make observations...especially if she's standing. (Studying has never been so fun. :P)

What really earned the five from me, though, was the sky. That sky (and water) looks like you spent a lot of time on this...looks great!

Keep up the good work!

tap5y responds:

Thank you for a very substantial review, come to think of it that is quite a good point... didn't rly think about it much while drawing :P I'll keep that in mind for further art ;)

And yeah, looking for references can be fun :D

An eye-ball bulge away from Ratfink...

But pretty funny! I like how you textured the hair, even giving little imperfect curl-ups around the back of the neck and front hairline. The wrinkly face is pretty appropriate when you take in consideration on how ancient Mickey Mouse really is...in only a few decades, he'll be a hundred years old.

I'm fascinated with how you got that smoke pattern down....I've been trying to draw smoke right for years in Photoshop, and I still don't quite have it right yet. The reflections in the ground only add to the artistic detail.

All in all, great job! Gratz on the frontpage!

Thanks Phobotech!
Great detailed review! Very helpful! :-)

Nice!

Joe Zombie were among the first things I ever watched here (besides Rockman Neo and Knox's Klaymations) It only got better and better as time went on.

I dunno if he'd flesh him out like this (away from stick figures, that is) but it would be one helluva improvement. The way how Joe's chilling in the bordered circle would make this an ideal shirt design...it wouldn't be hard either; slap it on the front of a green or black tee. "Newgrounds: Everything by Everyone" on the back, and, well...let's see if the creator has a site to throw on there...

...let's see....Rob-D. Hasn't done anything new since an '06 Joe Zombie submission...his website is....hahahaha! It's Explosm.net! I love Cyanide and Happ-...wait....

...Rob-D? One of the artist's name is Rob... Is the guy responsible for Joe Zombie the same guy responsible for the Explosm animations?

...Holy shit.

...Anyway, Joe Zombie has been a part of early Newgrounds history. It was an entertaining concept where the zombie was the protagonist, anti-hero, and I'd love to see more of it...especially in newer, rebooted monsterous detail like this. I'm sure Rob would be proud!

MindChamber responds:

I never really put those together, but it makes sense, since the explosm animations seem to have the same pacing and style.

I lol'd

You may want to fill the area to the right of him; his left hand closed off that area at his left waist leaving that part white...a simple eye-drop and paint-fill will fix that.

Regardless, good judgement on pencil-shading the blood and the face! I love dark, weird art, and I especially love Dexter's Laboratory.

piggypup responds:

yeah, i noticed that after i had uplaoded it. Im too lazy to go back and fix it....oh well...

thanks for the review, FAG!

Nicely done!

This is a really badass doodle! Reminds me of Heavy Metal magazines to an extent.

Done with sharpies, also. I used to doodle with sharpies all the time; even uploaded one of my sharp-doodles on here, but it's NOWHERE near as good as this. It truly inspires me to get back to my roots in paper and pen. :D

Fived and Faved!

amorite911 responds:

Dude, thanks! I checked out yur stuff and yur really good. I like your variety of mediums and avoidance of overusing any. :D i really liked your wall of doom faces. Brought back memories lol. Its such a perfect drawing executed so well.

Heh...I like it!

Nice, sharp designs, and skilled shading.

I kinda like how the eye-camera looks almost bird-like...but this is a very good sketch...keep 'em coming! You got a great style.

Hoboweasel responds:

Thanks for the review! :D
The, "camera" is actually just supposed to be an eye though. xD I intended the drawing to be of some sort of a cybernetic dog creature, comprised of both artificial and armored components (though I can see how it could appear entirely mechanical).

I'd wear these. :)

They look badass! Kinda reminds me of the show that I watched regularly as a kid, Reboot, if nothing else for the digital green suggestions.

Hell, make the white straight-up black and they could be Type O Negative shoes. :D

lotusflaower responds:

yeah

Nahh...they're racing shoes! :D

Here he comes, here comes Speed Racer!

You would've gone overboard with the checkers if you neglected to keep ANY surface patternless...but you left flat white on the front, and the black and red remains intact, so it's proportionate. They look good!

lotusflaower responds:

thanx

What does it make me think?

Well, the elf chick in the middle kinda throws me off a little bit from the otherwise urban style it seems to give.

The dark red with the red look good, and although the yellow-green parts don't clash horribly, the color choice could have been better.

If you were to keep the elf chick on the shoe, I would at least have her on there where she isn't cut-off, restricted, and just awkwardly placed. Since you can't move the Nike logo, I would at least angle her differently so it didn't look just kinda slapped on there, you know?

You could bring the picture down and to the left so her face isn't cut-off, or if you wanted to keep the tits in the shot, angle it by rotating to the left about...off the top of my head, 15 or 20 degrees, so you can still see the face, the tits, and maybe get a better look at the legs near the bottom of the Nike logo.

lotusflaower responds:

yeah I got sorta lazy after I added the colors so I just slapped her in there.
