That is BADASS!

The chrome finish on it looks really convincing. While at first, in the earlier two photo's I wasn't really digging the tripod feet, when it's got that shiiine to it, I think it works. Now that I think about it, with a chunky torso making it as hypothetically top-heavy as possible, maybe those feet make logical sense...

The arm reach also makes sense in the design of the mech...takes stress off of it in case it needs to reach something on the ground, and bend over as little as possible. With those massive cogs around the shoulders, it's believable if it can swing some mighty punches.

The visor gives it an effective, menacing non-stare...any inspirations carried over from the mech in "Da Pink Knight" or was that a medieval prototype to this? :P

I think it looks phenomenal. The 3D is convincing enough that if it weren't for the pixel-y background, I would've assumed this was a tangible model...and if it were, I'd be keeping an eye out for it in the store so I could decorate my desk. Voted five!

Interesting...

Kinda wish it was a little bigger, but it could still work as a great wallpaper with borders. Rolling with the phrase, "if you look for it, you'll find it" one's mind could easily pick up shapes, figures, or creatures dancing within what would otherwise be perceived as random...but there IS a structure to this. There is a sense of balance in this chaos...and if there isn't, well fuck it, because I just kinda like to stare at this thing. Fived! Great job!

Wonderful detail!

How long did this take you to do? The quality is astounding. If my desktop wasn't so cluttered- oh fuck it, this is my wallpaper.

Like, if this were an album cover, regardless of the band, I would buy and listen to the album because of this artwork. It makes Rust in Peace look campy.

...Well...CAMPIER...lol

I got nothing to criticize. This is inspiring! Great job, faved and fived!

Inspiring!

This is some really magnificent work- that guy really got his money's worth!

He stands out so effectively, and looks so totally BRUTAL it's hard not to just study it for minutes in awe at hardcore he looks. The shading and inkwork gives him weight, the red is powerful, and brown fits, and the sword reminds me of Heavy Metal (this is a good).

The scratches and imperfections in the armor are used sparingly, but just enough to imply density; I like to point that out because I have a bad habit of not knowing when to stop with "battle damage", and it was used well in this. The pose is menacingly cool! The name in the background also knits in an effective way to memorize the name, and it doesn't try to stand out all campy-like...I wouldn't be surprised at all to see this as a pro comic-book cover.

The brown papery texture REALLY works well with it all, too. As a learning artist, I'd love to just pick your brain about this- What was the hardest thing to do about this artwork? How exactly did you manage to pull off that texture in the background and over the cape, and what's YOUR personal favorite detail?

Great job! Fav'd and fived!

wow quite a review let me start by saying thank you its a poetic and and well put review. i am glad you like it.
firstly the back ground is just actually white cartridge paper but because of the paint and the way i edit my pictures i scanned it... it turns out brown and wavy but it is intentional.
and as for my favourite detail... i am not sure i usually pick out the bits i hate. but i have to say i am pleased with the outcome of his hands.

I don't know why...

...but looking at this in full view just makes me smile. Maybe I have a chub for machinery, but...this is fantastic artwork. :D I love this! Fav'd and Fived!

thanks a lot :) !

Tesla for the win!

This artwork is ten different shades of awesome! Fav'd and representin' as a wallpaper!

I know I'm a nerd...

...because immediately I thought about Vader and his robotic arms and limbs.

DESPITE my incredible nerdiness, this was still pretty funny :D Gratz on Frontpage!

Fishsticks!

I'm overwhelmed with nostalgia...Your lively style took some pretty decent creative license to the cast! I just wish there was more-so an environment/background to accommodate the illustration; if I remember correctly, Rocko had a really whacky, colorful house he lived in that could've helped take the artwork a step further. Background or not, though, it's still really good!

OMGOMGOMG

Megadeth!? Referencing one hell of an awesome album!?? Subtle Calvin & Hobbes styling?

LOOOVE! This would make a great T-shirt, and I would proudly rock it! It's badass AND cute...somehow. You would think those two should never go together, but this artwork is so much win.

Fived and Fav'd!
