What does it make me think?

Well, the elf chick in the middle kinda throws me off a little bit from the otherwise urban style it seems to give.

The dark red with the red look good, and although the yellow-green parts don't clash horribly, the color choice could have been better.

If you were to keep the elf chick on the shoe, I would at least have her on there where she isn't cut-off, restricted, and just awkwardly placed. Since you can't move the Nike logo, I would at least angle her differently so it didn't look just kinda slapped on there, you know?

You could bring the picture down and to the left so her face isn't cut-off, or if you wanted to keep the tits in the shot, angle it by rotating to the left about...off the top of my head, 15 or 20 degrees, so you can still see the face, the tits, and maybe get a better look at the legs near the bottom of the Nike logo.

yeah I got sorta lazy after I added the colors so I just slapped her in there.

A Level 3 Tunnel Snake!

Rock on! Nicely done, Luis.

Yum! Cadny!

Awww....is there ANY food in the wasteland that isn't irradiated!?

Kickass!

Original and metal! I love stuff like this. It's bizarre enough were it permits the viewer to really look at it for a long time without it getting old...great stuff, dude!

Colored Pencils are so fun...

...When done right, they look really amazingly done; like what you did here! Makes me want to dig up my set of them, and churn out full-colored drawings like these.

In the lighter parts (around the fingertips, the side of the leg, and generally where light is reflecting the most) did you simply not color there, or did you actually go to town on them with a white colored pencil?

Nice!

God, how did you do that? This is really amazingly done.

It looks good, dude.

Obviously, you were trying something neat with colors. The ink-blotch in the middle is shaded very nicely, and unlike me, you're at least not afraid to use a broad spectrum of colors...lol

(I dunno why I don't do it, I suppose it's just preference)

But if this was one of your older pieces, and you've been practicing in some way, shape, or form, you had to have become a better artist. Keep the submissions coming!

Truly Badass.

Absolutely phenomenal lighting and shading...the colors are well chosen, and you're a very, very skilled artist.

This sort of reminds me of the scene in Heavy Metal where the pilot of the B-52 parachute's down to the zombie airplane graveyard...that's good, because that was probably one of my favorite videos as a kid. :D

LaserKarl responds:

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.

Haha, I guess I've missed that video. Sounds awesome though.

Nice, I like it a lot.

I especially like how it's shaded to provide a sort-of leathery texture, as opposed to scaly.

...It's like a Xenoraptor, or something. :D

Aww

The little guy's cute. All around, it looks good...and this would be a really neat painting to put up in a studio, or really anywhere.

Did you physically paint the background?

SimonG responds:

Nope, actually it's all done in PS. :)

Thanks anyway!
